UNTOUCHED Release Party Blitz

Emerson Ray is trouble. Juliet knows it the minute she lays eyes on Cedar Cove’s resident bad boy. Forced to spend her summer before college in the sleepy beach town, she never expected to crash into the most devastating guy she’s ever met—or for Emerson’s blue eyes to strip through her dark secrets, and make her feel a desire she’s never known. Their connection is undeniable, but Juliet is torn. She knows, once she gives him everything, there’ll be no turning back.

Juliet McKenzie is dangerous. Emerson can tell from the way she blows through all his defences, laying bare the demons he’s carried alone all his life. He’s left a trail of broken hearts and empty beds in his wake, but Juliet is different. Her innocence is intoxicating—and the passion she keeps hidden, just below the surface. He wants to be the only one to set it free, but with every kiss, he’s closer to losing control and doing the one thing he swore he never would: fall in love.

One summer. Two damaged hearts. Their story is only just beginning…

UNTOUCHED is a prequel novella to the USA Today Bestselling UNBROKEN. It also can be read as a stand-alone story.

“Hey,” he grins, easy, and slides his hand around the back of my neck, pulling me in for a long, lazy kiss. My heart is racing as I taste him, mint and coffee, and something else, something all Emerson.

“You ready?”He puts the truck back in drive, and then slings his right arm around my shoulder. I snuggle closer, reveling in the touch of him.

“Ready for what?” I ask, as he turns out of town.

“This is our first date.” Emerson announces.

“Really?” I laugh. “I thought we were a long way past that.”

Like, three bases past.

I blush at the reminder, and I can tell from his wolfish grin that Emerson's thinking the same thing.

“A girl like you deserves a real date,” Emerson declares. “Not just groping in the dark somewhere.”

“In case you’ve forgotten, I kind of liked the whole groping in the dark thing,” I say, amazed at my boldness.

Emerson laughs. “Only kind of? Sweetheart, if that was you kind of liking something, I can’t wait to see what happens when you love it.”

“You'll just have to find out then, won't you?” I tease.

“Oh, I will. Believe me, baby. I've got plans for the two of us.” Emerson gives me that look again, dark and wild. He curves his lips into a teasing grin.

Book Blitz - Come Back To Me - Coleen Patrick | Excerpt and Giveaway!

Come Back to Me by Coleen Patrick
Publication date: March, 2013
Genre: YA Contemporary

Synopsis:
Whitney Denison can’t wait to start over.

She thought she had everything under control, that her future would always include her best friend Katie… Until everything changed.

Now her life in Bloom is one big morning after hangover, filled with regret, grief, and tiny pinpricks of reminders that she was once happy. A happy she ruined. A happy she can’t fix.

So, she is counting down the days until she leaves home for Colson University, cramming her summer with busywork she didn’t finish her senior year, and taking on new hobbies that involve glue and glitter, and dodging anyone who reminds her of her old life.

When she runs into the stranger who drove her home on graduation night, after she’d passed out next to a ditch, she feels herself sinking again. The key to surviving the summer in Bloom is unraveling whatever good memories she can from that night.

But in searching for answers, she’ll have to ask for help and that means turning to Evan, the stranger, and Kyle, Katie’s ex-boyfriend. Suddenly, life flips again, and Whitney finds herself on not only the precipice of happy but love, too, causing her to question whether she can trust her feelings, or if she is falling into her old patterns of extremes.

As she uncovers the truth about her memories, Whitney sees that life isn’t all or nothing, and that happy isn’t something to wait for, that instead, happy might just be a choice.

Excerpt

From Chapter 14

I went to the rec center.

The front desk pointed me down a checkerboard-tiled hallway. Halfway down, I heard guitar
strumming and a mish mosh of clanging tambourines. I transferred the paper bag with the last
muffin to my other hand and swiped my damp palm against my shorts. I moved toward the
music, my gaze darting from one closed door to the next, until I found the right classroom.
There, I peeked into the square window on the door.

Evan.

He stood in the middle of the room, chairs pushed to the edges, orchestrating a dozen or so kids
holding tambourines, triangles, and recorders. The sound they made was loud, shy of any sort
of regular rhythm, much like my heart suddenly, but they were all smiling, including Evan. He
clapped his hands over his head, while the guitar strapped around him swayed. His shirt was
blue—another button down, sleeves rolled to his forearm and shirttail hanging over his shorts
as they played to their finale. The tallest boy crashed his cymbals together while the kids with
tambourines shook them wildly in the air.

The butterflies in my stomach joined the ruckus, and I pressed a palm to my stomach. It was
just nerves thinking about our forthcoming conversation. It wasn’t going to be easy to ask him
about that night.

A girl in braids, the one holding the triangle, pointed at me and, in the moment, before Evan
turned, I felt the muscles in my legs tense, but I stayed still. I wasn’t going to run the other way
anymore, not when I wanted answers. Instead, I waved, and Evan raised his hand before heading
in my direction.

“All right guys.” He opened the door wide. “I’ll see you Friday.”

One by one, the kids streamed past me, chattering to one another. I focused on the tops of their
heads, unsure of how I would start my conversation with Evan.

“Hi.” I said, when the last kid was halfway down the hallway. Then I got tongue-tied. I smiled
at him, but my lips trembled, drawn up by sudden nerves.

Evan put out his hand for me to shake. I smiled, scrunching up my nose.

“Hi,” he said. “I’m Evan Foster.”

I laughed. A slow smile spread on his face, and I felt the butterfly orchestra in my gut move into
crescendo mode. I held out my own hand. His hand closed over mine. It was warm, strong.

“Whitney Denison,” I said, feeling a little bit silly. That turned out to be good though, because
as I took a deep breath, my nerves evened out. “Whitney Elizabeth Morgan Denison.”

Evan raised an eyebrow. “Oh, well in that case, I’m Evan Sebastian Foster.”

“Sebastian?”

“Yes, my mom was really into The Little Mermaid.”

Again I laughed, but then stopped. “What? Wait, you’re serious?”

“Yeah. She named me after Sebastian the crab.”

“And you tell everyone this story?”

“Not really.” He watched me in a way that sent my heart on a faster pace. “So, girl-with-two-
middle-names…”

“I don’t think I’m ready for you to be calling me by my Native American name.”

He grinned and glanced down at the floor for a moment. Then, he reached a hand in his jeans,
pulling out his car keys. Immediately, I was disappointed. I didn’t want to be done talking with
him. I was just getting started.

I remembered the bag in my hand and held it up to him. “Are you hungry?”

Unbroken - Melody Grace | Book Blast

Sneak Peek...
“So, you own the bar now?” I say, “That’s great. Why didn’t you say?”

Emerson gives me a measured look. “You didn’t ask.”

I stop. How is this my fault? “Yeah, well I didn’t exactly have time, what with you pummeling a guy, pretending like you were going to make out with me, then judging every one of my life choices.”

My reply whips out before I can stop it. I clamp my hand over my mouth, and stare at the shocked expression on Emerson’s face. He so wasn’t expecting that! But why the hell shouldn’t I say it? It’s the truth, after all. I let out a giggle, unable to stop myself.

His expression changes.

“You’re drunk.” He says shortly.

I shrug, defensive. “So what if I am?”

“You never could hold your liquor.” He shakes his head, and takes another gulp of his beer. “I wonder, what else has changed…?” Emerson’s mouth curves into a lascivious smile. “You still make that breathy noise when you come?”

I gasp, shocked. “Fuck you!”

“Already been there, darlin’.”

Astarte's Wrath - A Kythan Guardians Novel - Trisha Wolfe | Book Blast

Astarte's Wrath is the companion novel to...

Check out Trisha Wolfe's other books...

A peek inside Astarte's Wrath...
“I’ve found you.”

I turn to see Xarion leaning against the frame of my terrace door. A slight smile curves his beautiful lips, and his arms are crossed over his bronze muscled cuirass.

Feeling brave, I slip close and wrap my arms around his waist, the brass studs of his belt pressing against my stomach. “I wasn’t hiding,” I say, looking up into his face. I can see his exhaustion there, in the dark crescents under his eyes, though he’s putting on a good front. “I’d never tempt a great hunter.”

He chuckles as he steps away long enough to slip off his breastplate, then he embraces me. Leaning down, he whispers in my ear, “You’re always tempting.” Running his thumb over my cheek, he lowers his face before mine, his breaths shallow. “In fact, your power of seduction is having its desired effect on me right now.” His lips softly brush mine, sweet and inviting at first, then he deepens the kiss.

I realize that anyone could walk in, and I begin to pull away. “Xarion, my room is not secure,” I say between his kisses.

He groans against my lips, and the deep rumble sends my hands into his hair, pulling him to me. I feel him smile. He scoops me into his arms, his lips never leaving mine, and walks us inside.

My sense breaks through, and I whisper, “Lunia or Phoenix could come looking for me and—”

“That’s what locks were designed for,” he interrupts.

I laugh. “Oh, that will not stop either of them.”

He turns the bolt on my door, keeping his arm sturdy beneath my legs. Then he takes me to the bed where he lays me down. I let my head fall back against the coverlet as he hovers above me, his fisted hands pressing into the mattress on either side of my head, his knees parting my legs.

Suddenly he bounds up, and I think he’s come to his senses. My stomach tumbles as I realize how much I don’t want him to be responsible—but we can’t chance it here. Only he grabs the chair from my desk and kicks the back. My eyes widen in surprise. He places one of the panels against the door, securing its ends in the torch brackets.

“That should give them some difficulty,” he says as he unbuckles his belt, the action making my heart beat wildly. “And give me enough time to hide in your dressing room like a clandestine lover.”

A smile twitches at my lips. “You mean, like exactly what you are?”

Shaking his head, his dark hair falling against his eyes, he counters, “I’m offended.” He strips off his leather armor. I pull my bottom lip between my teeth as my eyes slip over him, and a crooked smile hikes his face. “Ah, but that does it for you, huh? You like stealing kisses in the shadows, the constant fear of being caught.” Climbing onto the bed, he positions himself above me. “I bet your heart is pounding hard right now, the adrenaline claiming your body”—he presses his palm over my heart—“with a need only your clandestine lover can satisfy.”

Here is my first post for this week, an Xpresso Book Blitz!!! The we are talking about is;

The Boys of Summer by C.J. Duggan (Summer Series, #1) - New Adult Contemporary Romance - Publication date: December 17th 2012

And we also have two rafflecopter giveaways!!! You can find the widgets below...

Here is the book synopsis;

It seemed only natural to nickname them the ‘Onslow Boys’. Every time they swaggered in the front door of the Onslow Hotel after a hard week’s work, their laughter was loud and genuine as they settled onto their bar stools. I peeked through the restaurant partition, a flimsy divider between my world and theirs. I couldn’t help but smile whenever I saw them, saw him ... Toby Morrison.

Quiet seventeen-year-old Tess doesn’t relish the thought of a summertime job. She wants nothing more than to forget the past haunts of high school and have fun with her best friends before the dreaded Year Twelve begins.
To Tess, summer is when everything happens: riding bikes down to the lake, watching the fireworks at the Onslow Show and water bomb fights at the sweltering Sunday markets.

How did she let her friends talk her into working?

After first-shift disasters, rude, wealthy tourists and a taunting ex-boyfriend, Tess is convinced nothing good can come of working her summer away. However, Tess finds unlikely allies in a group of locals dubbed ‘The Onslow Boys’, who are old enough to drive cars, drink beer and not worry about curfews. Tess’s summer of working expands her world with a series of first times with new friends, forbidden love and heartbreaking chaos.

All with the one boy she has never been able to forget.

It will be a summer she will always remember.

Warning: sexual references, and occasional course language.

The Voice - Jennifer Anne Davis | Excerpt

Chapter 1

Lying in the dark cabin, I tried not to think about the foul smell of body odor mixed with the stench of urine. I tried not to think about how hungry I was, or when I would eat again. About the plastic zip ties cutting into my wrists, or the spider crawling up my arm. I kept trying and failing. There was nothing to do but think.

Audrey? he spoke in my mind.
